Forecast: More cold nights ahead for the Birmingham area

There will be more cold nights ahead for the Birmingham area, according to the National Weather Service.

Tonight's low will be around 34.

Friday will be sunny with a high near 61 and a low around 42.

Skies will be partly sunny Saturday with a high near 64. That night will be mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 32.

Sunday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 47 and a low around 26.

Clear skies ahead in Birmingham area forecast

The National Weather Service is calling for clear skies -- for the most part -- and mild temperatures for the Birmingham area this weekend.

Thursday night's low will be around 40 with partly cloudy skies and calm winds.

Then, look for clear skies through Sunday with a high around 65 on Friday. The highs Saturday and Sunday will be around 70.

Friday night's low is expected to be near 43 with Saturday night's temperature around 46.

Forecast: Another chilly night ahead for the Birmingham area

It will be another chilly night in the Birmingham area, but -- after several frosty nights -- the National Weather Service does not expect overnight lows to drop to the freezing point.

Tonight will be clear with a low around 42.

The high temperature Wednesday and Thursday is expected to reach 76 each day.

Wednesday's low will be around 46. Thursday night's low will be around 48.

Forecast: Chilly nights ahead for Birmingham area

There is a 70 percent chance of rain tonight with a low around 49.

Thursday will be cloudy through mid-morning with a high near 59 and an overnight low around 36.

Friday will be sunny with a high near 56 and an overnight low around 31.
